PROJECT OVERVIEW
PROJECT OVERVIEW

Mar e Madeira — meaning “Sea and Wood” in Brazilian Portuguese — is a bespoke furniture studio that brings together the calming essence of the ocean and the timeless strength of natural wood. Focused on custom-designed interiors and high-quality craftsmanship, the brand needed an identity that reflected both softness and structure, emotion and precision.

Vermeer Paints is a high-end brand catering to artists and artisans who demand the finest vintage-inspired pigments. With a dedication to heritage and craftsmanship, the brand required an identity that reflected both tradition and superior quality.

The Challenge
The Challenge

While Mar e Madeira delivered exceptional, tailor-made furniture and elevated client experiences, its brand presence didn’t yet reflect the poetic duality at the heart of its name: the organic harmony between the sea (Mar) and wood (Madeira). The challenge was to build an identity that expressed natural elegance, trust, and the emotional value of living in a space designed just for you.

WHAT WE DID
WHAT WE DID

I created a complete brand identity rooted in balance — between fluid and solid, organic and refined. The logo evokes nature’s flow and material strength, inspired by waves, grain lines, and minimalist forms. The color palette brings together coastal serenity with the depth of wood tones, while typography blends clarity and warmth. I also defined the brand’s tone of voice: gentle, grounded, and trustworthy — perfect for guiding clients through the journey of transforming their homes with intention. From the naming story to every design detail, I positioned Mar e Madeira as more than a furniture brand — it’s an experience of beauty, calm, and tailored living.

"Ana captured the essence of our vision with remarkable clarity. We had no name, no clear direction — just a feeling. She took that feeling and transformed it into a brand that feels like us in every detail. Working with her was not just creative — it was transformative.”
